Flow of the First Visit
This is the flow from the first visit to the start of treatment at Aoyama Itchome Azabu Dental Clinic. Please review this before coming to the clinic.
Please make a reservation
Please make a reservation by phone or online. Contacting us in advance as much as possible allows us to guide you to your treatment without making you wait.
*If emergency treatment is required, we will respond according to the situation.
Fill out the medical questionnaire
Upon arrival, please fill out the medical questionnaire. To accurately understand your symptoms, please fill it out in as much detail as possible. We will call you to the examination room when it is your turn.
Examination
We will guide you to the examination room for a brief checkup. We will ask about when the pain started, the intensity of the pain, etc. No matter how small the detail, please feel free to speak with us.
Tests such as X-rays
To examine the condition of teeth and the entire mouth that cannot be seen with the naked eye, we will take X-rays of all your teeth in a separate X-ray room. Other tests will also be conducted as necessary.
Counseling
Based on the results of the examination and tests including X-rays, we will discuss and determine the treatment plan with the patient. For the first visit, unless there is time to perform treatment or an emergency procedure is required, the visit concludes with the explanation after testing and counseling for future treatment plans.
Start of treatment
For the first visit, if there is a necessity to treat, we will perform the treatment or prescribe medication. Otherwise, treatment will begin from the next visit based on the explanation given during the initial visit.
Completion of treatment
Although the number of visits varies depending on symptoms and conditions, treatment is completed in a few visits. We will carefully perform the treatment according to the details of the counseling.
Maintenance and regular checkups
The period after treatment is when important preventive care begins. We recommend receiving regular cleanings and dental checkups for your teeth and oral cavity. Early symptoms of teeth and gum abnormalities are often difficult to detect. Even after treatment is completed, let's keep attending regular checkups.
